The Newfoundland & Labrador Section of the Canadian Institute of Forestry - Institut forestier du Canada, is hosting the 2024 National Conference & 116th Annual General Meeting. The conference will be held in St. John's, Newfoundland, from September 15th to 18th, 2024.

This multi-day Conference, Protecting Our Forests: Adapting to the New Normal, will explore various forest threats such as wildfire and invasive species and discuss a variety of sustainable forest management practices that protect our wildlands, and learn about ways to ensure the safety and wellness of our current and future forestry workforce. The Conference will also include many activities where you can experience St. John’s and the surrounding area.

Within the conference, Forests Without Borders - Forêts sans Frontières, hosts the annual Silent Auction which raises money for reforestation and community projects around the world.
